Is love just a feeling? Well, that’s the way people make it sound when they say things, “falling in love,” or “falling out of love.” Love is just a feeling even when we’re talking about society as a whole. Consider for a moment the “love” the Beatles sang about:

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love. Love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love. Love is all you need.

That’s a lot of LOVE, but what the hell does that mean? Do we all just need to feel good about each other? Is that the goal?

In today’s world, you’re judged for what you THINK and what you FEEL as much as you are what you do. Every word you speak or write is judged by others to see if you have “hate” in your heart. And if you do, you could just lose your job and suffer public embarrassment!

As a society, we suffer because of wrong conceptions of love, and as couples and families, we suffer because we don’t understand the meaning of love.

Love is more than a feeling. Love is action that has a greater purpose or goal in mind. You love your family because you have a purpose in mind. You’re trying to create something. You should then love others because together we’re trying to create something. Therefore, love is action is more than it is a feeling, and sometimes, you need to engage in action even when you don’t “like” someone.

Love as action is what I’m discussing in my new 5-message series: Love is More Than a Feeling. I show my video series in my Life Domination Online Coaching Group, but I always show the first episode of each week’s series for free on my website. Watch Episode 1 now:
