In Episode 2 of The Metal Excellence Podcast, I’m joined once again by co-host, Pat McNamara (“Mac”), of TMACS, Inc. and Combat Strength Training. The vibe is so good with Mac that I’d like to keep him on the show!

We were also joined by Win Ford, a cancer survivor—and a metal head—who went through hell and lived to tell about it. His descriptions are life-changing. He had so much wisdom to offer from his experience that even if you don’t suffer from cancer, Win will change the way you look at your life.

Screen Shot 2017-10-27 at 9.08.57 PMMac did us all a favor in this episode by giving us powerful, practical, and effective ways to leave more safely in a world that’s growing more dangerous. Mac has served for 22 years in the most elite, secretive special forces unit in the military in some of the most dangerous places in the world, so I had to talk to him about how we can improve our situational awareness in light of so many shootings and other dangerous scenarios.

Mac is the expert’s expert when it comes to this topic, and he’s the author of the book Sentinel: Become the Agent in Charge of Your Own Protection Detail. Mac broke down some key points out of his book. Get your signed copy here.

Special thanks goes to my good friend, Metal Mike Chlasciak (guitarist for Halford, Sebastian Bach, Testament & Painmuseum) for donating two his killer tracks off his “Metalworker” album for my intro and outro. Learn more about Metal Mike here.

I’d also like to thank my good friend, Sean Tex Dehart, of Home Music Tools for editing and finalizing this podcast episode to make it sound the best it can. Click to learn more about he can help you with your podcast or other audio needs.

My mission is to help equip people to maximize their resources for a purpose greater than themselves. That's what my own mentors and teachers have done for me, and I'm paying it forward. Life can be merciless, and the world can be a messed up place, so what's needed is a stronger people that can both endure and overcome in life. My motto is, "In whatever you do, don't suck! Metal up!"
