Metal up! I hope all is well with you…

A couple nights ago, I was watching a documentary on the history of the Rocky films, and one theme stood out to me as I looked over the entire saga of the Rocky character: hunger.

If you ever saw the third film, Rocky III, you remember how the champ became complacent—how he lost the hunger he once had, and then suffered the loss of his title to the number one contender, Clubber Lang (played by Mr. T).

In this film, Clubber Lang was the hungry one, and it wasn’t until Rocky got back the “eye of the tiger” that he was able to defeat Clubber Lang and regain the title.

Watch this short clip of Rocky’s manager, Micky, telling the champ how he’s lost his hunger:

Why do these films resonate with us? It’s because we all have a fight to win. We all have a title to gain or lose. We all have a “Rocky” inside of us, and it’s that side of us that we call upon to meet life’s toughest struggles.

You’ve Got to Get Back the Hunger You Once Had

Were you hungry at some point in your life? Have you lost that drive to sacrifice for something you actually wanted? If so, then I want you to know that there are steps you can take to get that hunger back, and they’re not that difficult. I’d like to show you what those are, because I use them daily, and I’ll be 50 years-old next month. Therefore, age has nothing to do with it!

Believe it or not, hunger can be stimulated by feeding it. I realize that may sound strange because, in the natural, hunger goes away when you feed it. That’s the not the case in life where the more you feed your deepest desires, the stronger they become.

Staying hungry is the theme of this week’s 5-video series I’m showing in my Life Domination Online Coaching Program. As always, I show the first episode for free. If you’d like to check it out—and I think you should—then click here to watch Episode 1 of Stay Hungry, and You’ll Win in Life.
