Learn to maximize your time, and you’ll transform boredom into building something for yourself. A bored person is a directionless person. A bored person is basically a slave. They have no greater expectation than living on the plantation of “just getting by” and have no intent to maximize their gifts, talents, and abilities.

People often think of the great things they’ll do once they get some time off. Well, that time off ain’t coming, so you better figure out a way to fit your goals for something greater into your present schedule. You’d be shocked to find out how much time is already being wasted.

With as much resources as you have, and as much opportunity as exists in this world, you should exploit every free moment you get to move your ass into where you truly want to be. Busy people are in motion, and it’s a hell of a lot easier to steer someone that’s moving then someone that has parked their asses with nothing to do.

Our society is driven by leisure. Everybody’s lookin’ for vacation time, or the upcoming weekend, so it’s rare you to hear someone say, “I’m looking forward to the weekend because I’m gonna work on my side business.” You should exploit all your available time by improving your skills, getting more education, or starting a home business. God forbid I ever hear you say, “I’m bored.”

How can anyone be bored when they live in world filled with opportunity? Only those who settle for what they are can be content with periods of boredom. But I refuse to believe that’s you. In your case, you know you haven’t come close to maximizing your potential. In your case, the best is yet to come! Metal up!

Nice article, there is a saying that he most busy person is usually the one who has all the time in the world. They are busy getting bored doing things of least importance to any one or to themselves.
