Remember when you were a kid and lived out the movies you saw on screen? Wasn’t it like becoming something greater than yourself for a little while? You got to be the hero. You got to defeat the villain. For a little while, you were transformed because you were “inspired” by characters and stories you saw.

There’s one thing you can’t escape that no one really talks about. There’s something that we all have to continually face that will test our frustration and anger. It’s waiting and being patient.
Some of the greatest, most important events of our lives were preceded by boldness. Think about it. Without courageous acts in the face of risk, failure, or embarrassment, our life would have little to no highlights.
There are so many things that can hold us back from going after our dreams and goals or finally changing an area of our lives that we’ve always struggled with. I would say the foremost is self-doubt—when we constantly question our worthiness, our ability, and whether something is possible for us.
Daily motivation is supposed to provide support to what should truly be driving your life. Inspirational quotes are only helpful to give you a “boost” to help keep you going, but they are not what you should build your life upon.
How many times have you heard people say, “Just follow your heart?” It’s probably in the top ten of the most common pieces of advice that people give. For me, it’s not any more helpful than having someone try to comfort me with, “It’ll all work out.”
Are there areas of your life in which you’re holding yourself back? Maybe in your career, your band, your business, your relationships, your health? You might feel unsure about yourself, and unsure about the future, but again, your best move is to expand and increase in the face of doubt.
You and I will never live a fulfilling life until we learn to love ourselves, but I’m not talking about becoming more selfish or egocentric. I’m talking about a true, unconditional love that actually transforms you into a powerful “agent of change” in this world. In fact, it will turn you into the most influential and attractive person you could possibly be!
We usually think strong emotions like anger are only negative, but that’s not entirely true. In fact, without a healthy rage or anger, we would tolerate a lot of evil in the world. Sometimes, it’s those negative emotions that help us create positive actions!
