“If you’re a people pleaser, then does anyone know the real you?”

Do you spend a lot of time trying to make everyone else happy? Are you striving for acceptance? Do you always want to impress others? Are you working hard to pacify everyone else at your own expense? Then you might be a people pleaser.

There are reasons why we strive to please others:

  • We’re afraid of being rejected.
  • We’re afraid of being judged.
  • We’re afraid of being unloved.
  • We’re afraid of being criticized.
  • We’re afraid of being exposed.

Our goal should be to serve others because it’s the right thing to do and not for what they can give us. People who live always wanting others to give them something in return are always disappointed.

We need to be set free from the desire to please others for the wrong reasons, and you can do this once you understand the dynamics that are at play when you’re driven to please people.

This is what I’m covering this week in my new 5-message series Are You a People Pleaser? in my Life Domination Online Coaching Group. Watch Episode 1 now:
