Show No Mercy…Because Life Can Be Merciless

Life is all out war. There is an endless horde of opponents resisting your advance, and a massive amount of obstacles you have to overcome. The circumstances are never ideal, and you rarely get to pick the battlefield. And just when you think a situation is settled, another head pops to shoot at you. You’re tired, strained, and battered, but life is merciless—it just keeps coming.
Were you prepared for this fight? If you were treated like a baby all your life, we doubt it. That’s why this web site will never sympathize with your perceived handicaps. Metal Motivation will never show mercy to the fact that you were spanked too hard as a kid, or people picked on you in high school. It doesn’t matter. Revisiting the past cannot help you conquer the future. Bury the dead and move on.
Have you ever noticed that no single branch of the military ever shows sympathy to a recruit’s past, weaknesses, or personal hurts? In fact, during boot camp, the drill instructors do the opposite: they work to destroy all those idiosyncrasies, fears, self-justifications, and personal hang-ups. But the world of “Oprah” caters to that crap. That pop-psychologist does nothing but give a lazy population a litany of excuses to justify their miserable conditions.
The military is smarter, because the military is preparing soldiers for battle. Life is not a damn talk show. It’s an all out war demanding absolute resolve, courage, and merciless fervency. Oprah cannot make soldiers. Jerry Springer can do nothing but encourage that “trailer park” mentality of no discipline and no dreams. To hell with that! Turn that crap off and whip your mind and body into shape.
Metal Motivation won’t pander to your past, because the “metal militia” needs soldiers prepared to slaughter the enemies of life. You cannot do that if you make excuses for yourself, or those around you.
Life is merciless, so show no mercy.

    Hey Guys

I came across your podcast in itunes and was blown away.I have wondered for years why no one has ever done what you guys are doing.I’ve been lacking in motivation at work and in my life.Letting my anxiety rule over everything.I’ve been needing something strong to put a boot in my ass and get me back on track.Your material combined with neuroscience information I have been studying could lead me to vastly more achievement at 42 years of age than most people I know.

    Thanks

    James

God’s Mercy is a Great Strength.. Just sayin.. Love ya Motivator! TY for the pep talks, but certain things we do not see eye to eye on. But I still love and appreciate you bro!

    But never forget:

“God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:That no flesh should glory in his presence.” – I Corinthians 1:27-29

Never mistake Meekness for Weakness. There will come times in life when all the strenth any man can muster will be like shooting a BB Gun at a Tank. That is when God’s Strength kick in!

Hey, Kuba. Good to hear from you, man. I’m not referring to meekness in this article. This is personal development. It’s not gospel-based. There are other forums for a Christian’s approach to life.
