Crazy Train: Keeping Your Life on Track to Destination Domination!

In football, you can go to the Super Bowl by avoiding turnovers. In life, you can achieve your best by avoiding the train wrecks. In order to do that, you’ve got to keep your “caboose” on the tracks.

Sometimes things can happen—or situations arise—that you can do nothing about. It happens to all of us. But, for too many, they are their own “bad situation.” For too many, they create their own train wrecks.

If you want to create real change in your life, the elements you need are basic. If you want to achieve your goals, it only requires two short lists: 1) the stuff you have to do, and 2) the stuff to avoid.

The short list of stuff to do:

1. Decide exactly what you want—or want to change
2. Create a strategy to achieve it
3. Take action today on that strategy
4. Stick to your strategy until you achieve the goal or change

The short list of stuff not to do:

1. Allow people or circumstances to break your focus
2. Keep taxing relationships
3. Keep doing bad habits
4. Watch too much television

It’s the little things that trip you up. It’s the small things that eat away at your success. It’s spending money on little things that eat up your cash over time. It’s spending too much effort on wasteful things like television and lazy people that consume your spare time. It’s this small stuff that can knock your life off track so that you never reach your destination. It’s time to dominate the small stuff. It’s time to kick some butt and protect your dreams.
