Master of Puppets: Who’s Pulling Your Strings?

Are you the master of your destiny? YES! Even if the totality of your life is subject to the control of others, you’re still the master of your destiny—and someone only holds the strings because YOU gave them the strings to hold. Someone has control over you only because YOU gave permission!

Every day that you choose NOT to move toward your goals represents another string that’ll make your goals even harder to reach. This is not good, because the last string that gets attached is the one around your neck! At that point, it’s all over.

But don’t get down in the mouth about it. Cutting the strings can begin now, if you start making decisions that move you towards your goals. If you have a “string” of a day job that you don’t like, then start cutting it by equipping yourself for a new field—you’re never too old to learn or enhance skills that’ll promote you for increase.

If you’ve always been subject to the ups and down of the economy, then start cutting that string by starting your own business. Invest in your own ass instead of spending yourself to build someone else’s kingdom. Taking control of your own life will make you the puppet master, and the only strings to be held will be held by you.

Your options narrow as time eats away at your opportunities. This is why time is your most important asset—it’s irreplaceable. You can always get more money, but you can’t get more time. Start cutting the strings of your puppet masters by busting your ass and time will start working for you!
